Thank You for visiting the Blind Voices Coalition website. This website is designed so that people who are significantly blind, use screen readers and have medium to low technical skills can use the website effectively.
The primary method for navigating this site is by select next item. The home page is made up primarily of a single column of links. links may lead to other pages of links or to documents.
The website will render to all devices, smart phones, tablets & PC’s, but it does render in slightly different formats, depending which device your are on. This is primarily due to the amount of screen space available.
The sidebar on the right has a search box and navigation links. On a smart phone, there is a menu button which will bring up the information that is on the sidebar. The search box on the smart phone is at the bottom of the page.
Clicking a link will take you to the page to which the link points. If the page you land on has links, you will click the desired link to take you to the information you need. Once you have reviewed the information you need, you have two ways to go back. You can use the back function on your screen reader or you can go back to the home page by using the Home link on the side bar or you can click on the site link in the upper left corner and it will take you to the home page.
